La Voz del Pueblo, KFAI 90.3

CTUL and Mujeres en Liderazgo

If you haven’t already caught “La Voz del Pueblo” on KFAI 90.3, make sure to check it out every Sunday from 12-1pm.  The program is led by members of CTUL and Mujeres en Liderazgo, talking about issues that impact the Latino community.  Last Sunday, they interviewed members of four Workers Centers (see below) that are part of our national network through Interfaith Worker Justice (IWJ) to learn about the organizing efforts of workers from around the country.  Something interesting in the interviews is that it seems that each Worker Center mentions that one of the main industries where they have seen abuses of workers’ rights is in cleaning.  You can hear the interview through KFAI’s website.  And make sure to tune in every Sunday from 12-1pm for future programs!
