CTUL Celebrates 4th Year Anniversary
FIESTA DEL TRABAJADOR
Over 350 workers and their families came out last Saturday, September 17th, to celebrate CTUL’s 4th year anniversary. Festivities included popular theater, live music, clowns, danzantes, raffles, and more. Many people signed commitment sheets supporting the Campaign for Justice in Retail Cleaning, committing to spend their money in stores that meet our values as a community, totaling over $500,000 in buying power per year. You can add your voice to the movement at the upcoming Festival for Justice, on October 16th, 2011. Keep an eye out on the website for more info.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a huge success, including: Waite House
