Morning Strike Report 4.14.16
Over 250 striking fast food workers and community allies came out before sunrise for a huge rally outside of the 471 Marion St. McDonald’s in St. Paul, joining workers in over 300 cities around the country in the biggest strike to date in the #Fightfor15. Representatives Lesch, Hornstein and Dehn stood with workers outside of the McDonald’s for the St. Paul action.

Hundreds of striking fast food workers and community allies came out for the second round of the action from 5-7pm at the McDonald’s on Lake and 2nd in South Minneapolis. Workers were joined by Minneapolis City Council Representative Alondra Cano, who called for a $15 minimum wage in Minneapolis, and Nekima Levy-Pounds, the President of the Minneapolis Chapter of the NAACP.
