9/29 Out of the Shadows Gathering

Over 100 people from around the country joined the “Out of the Shadows Gathering” following the 9/29 action. Participants heard presentations from many organizations, and discussed what we can learn from the many grassroots struggles happening around the country, including:

 And of course, no conference about grassroots struggles could be complete without including an action at the end! Congratulations to the Coalition of Immokalee Workers for the recent victory with Chipotle signing onto the Fair Food Agreement, moving forward the movement for fair wages and working conditions for Florida farmworkers!
